Sources and methodology
What our citations prove—and what they do not.
Source hierarchy
We prefer government and regulator records, SEC filings and official proceedings, company filings, and other public-agency records. Independent journalism and industry research can add context. Social posts and anonymous or promotional material are leads, not sole proof of material legal, financial, regulatory, technical, permitting, or partnership claims.
Traceable claims
Public briefs show source links and a sentence-to-fact ledger. Source records retain identifiers, retrieval evidence, hashes, and parser metadata internally. We never reconstruct a missing URL.
Unavailable links
A source that redirects, requires authentication, becomes temporarily unavailable, or is removed remains in the record with its status. It is not silently deleted.
